Both are open classes catering for beginner - advanced levels.
About Pilates
Pilates is designed to improve your strength, flexibility, posture and coordination, and to promote proper breathing
and awareness of your spine. Classes work your entire body, but emphasise strengthening
your core muscles - abdomen, lower back and buttocks. Strengthening these muscles leads to improvements
in posture, assists with lower back pain and relieves muscular tension.
About the Classes
Classes are taught by a qualified Pilates teacher and are suitable for beginners to advanced students.
Cost
You can enrol in a 6-week course for the discount price of $60.00 for the course (price covers 6 consecutive
weeks only, must be paid up front).
Or casual classes are $15.00 per one-hour class or $10.00 per class for NMEDC studio members.
Classwear and Equipment
Bring your own mat. Wear comfortable exercise gear. No shoes required.
It's always a good idea to bring water and a towel too.
